Un-Gatekeeping my eBay Watchlist
I need to stop hiding my watchlist..but don't buy any of these items before I get a chance to snag them first.
I have shopped more on eBay than any other store in 2025. In fact, I’ve probably shopped on eBay more than anywhere else over the last three years. I tell myself it’s better for the environment to shop second-hand (it is), and I allow myself to run wild within the virtual stacks of vintage clothing. It’s a fun, weightless way to shop and build a unique, yet cohesive wardrobe. If there’s an item that you’re in the market for, you can most likely get it on eBay. You don’t need me to tell you that. If you’re reading this, you’re already most likely sartorially inclined.
There are ebbs and flows when it comes to eBay. I will spend days browsing, filling up my watchlist, and letting the offers roll in before deciding what will ultimately become part of my closet. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an eBay binge.
I need to stop browsing, stop adding items to my watchlist, and stop making offers on clothing I don’t need. So I’m deciding to un-gatekeep some of my watchlist. These are all items I’ve been watching for a little while, and the temptation is strong. I’m not adding links..so I guess I’m gatekeeping a little, but these items won’t be hard to find.
Carhartt Duck Jacket
The much cooler cousin of the Barbour waxed jackets. I love made-in-USA clothing when shopping vintage on eBay, and jackets like this from brands like Carhartt are built for the long haul.
Deadwood Harley Davidson Tee
Al Swearengen would roll over in his grave if he knew shirts like this existed, but Deadwood is one of my five favorite shows ever, and I want to show the world how I feel about it!
Vintage Made-in-USA Russell Athletic Hoodie in Navy
One of the best hoodies of all time. Bar none. In a classic, navy, I may add. One of the most versatile pieces ever.

This Pair of Glizzy T-shirts
I’m going to be honest with you guys: I already bought both of these. My recent trip to the Midwest changed my life. I wasn’t a glizzy guy before, but I am now. I’m still daydreaming of my first Detroit Coney Dog and the Chicago dog I had at Wrigley Field. Now these t-shirts will help those moments live on forever.
Playboy Jazz Festival Hat
I wish it didn’t say the word “Playboy” on it, but this hat comes in a very nice shade of green. I’m a fan of the illustration embroidered on the front, and there is nothing cooler than an old jazz festival. This is the kind of hat that attracts eyes and compliments.
Vintage Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey
Who doesn’t want to channel their inner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander?
Ralph Lauren Indigo Oxford
My personal in-office uniform usually consists of a pair of jeans or black trousers, a vintage Oxford shirt, and a pair of boots or loafers. It’s simple and it works for me. For all the vintage Polo OCBD shirts I have, I do not have a chambray version. Well, here you go!
The Orleans Las Vegas Casino Crewneck
Vegas is one of my guilty pleasures. I don’t go now as much as I used to in my early twenties, but I’m in a perpetual state of nostalgia for Sin City. I have family that lives there, so I used to go all the time when I was a kid. Then, as a young adult, I started going with my friends to get litty in the club. I love the energy of Vegas, and I love playing blackjack, roulette and craps. The Orleans is one of the lesser-known hotels off the strip, which makes wearing its merch cool. Two gators with a royal flush on a crewneck? Quite possibly one of the coolest coffee-run sweatshirts you can buy.
Y2K Baggy Fit Gap Jeans
Gap jeans are underrated. I own a handful of vintage Gap jeans. They’re indestructible. This pair is good for summer!
1940s Art Deco Bulova Manual Wind Watch
I’m having a Bulova phase at the moment. I just watched this documentary about the brand’s 150-year history. Naturally, I’m trying to find a cool vintage piece now. This Art Deco piece would make me feel like Capone, so I’ll probably end up buying it.
