The Christmas Checklist
You're off work, you're eating and drinking, you're probably idle. Let us guide you!
The holidays are upon us. When this is coming out, I’ll be off work until the first week of January. Hopefully, you are too. We all work too hard, we deserve it. Maybe you’re reading this from your childhood bedroom or you’re in the United Lounge at JFK. Perhaps you’re reading this from your office, God forbid. Regardless, hopefully, we all have some much-needed idle time on our hands. I wanted to create a quick guide for passing the time during the holidays.

Unconventional, Yet Practical Advice for Dressing Better
Style is a journey. As cliche as it is, style, like many things in life, is going to be a lifelong journey that you’ll embark on. While there will be times that you look in your closet and think to yourself none of these pieces look good on me or I’m not good-looking enough to get this outfit off
Dirty Thirty: 30 Hot Takes about Culture & Fashion to Celebrate my Thirtieth Birthday
Today is my 30th birthday. I may have had a miniature crisis in the days and weeks leading up to it, but I’m no different from anyone else turning 30. I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection, thinking of things that went wrong and others that went right. I’m commemorating my 30th with a couple small watch purchases, but more on that later. I thought th…
In Defense of California Leisure Style
Los Angeles has a bad reputation when it comes to style. I’ve been to LA more times than I can count; I understand. The amount of men in their busted-down Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watches, wearing head-to-toe designer labels, driving a Rolls Royce is as gauche as it gets. There are plenty of people in Southern California who don’t dress like this; howe…
Boat Shoes and the Joy of Missing Out on Trends
I’ve owned two pairs of Sperry’s in my life - both in different shades of brown, a light khaki in suede, and a mocha leather pair - that I beat the shit out of. Looking back on it, I purchased my first pair of boat shoes during my senior year of high school. I was in a period of discovering my style, and I was attracted to the preppy look. I knew I was …
The Ten Greatest Films of the Decade so Far
We may only be a few years into the decade, but we cannot underestimate the amount of good cinema that has been released to the masses. As a self-proclaimed critic and overall film-lover, I’ve watched close to every Best Picture nominee this decade alongside dozens of other notable films. I’ve seen big-budget and small-budget movies, films from American…
